One oil change for the BMW N63 and N63TU V8 cars listed below: 10 L of Liqui Moly Special Tec B FE 0W-30, a Mann HU 8007 Z KIT oil filter kit, a can of Liqui Moly Hydraulic Lifter Additive and an 86 mm, 16 flute oil filter cap wrench, in one box.
What's in the kit
- Oil: 2 x 5 L Liqui Moly Special Tec B FE 0W-30 (22261), 10 L total, BMW Longlife-01 FE (LL-01 FE) 0W-30
- Oil filter: Mann HU 8007 Z KIT oil filter kit, replaces BMW 11427583220
- Cap wrench: CTA oil filter cap wrench, 86 mm, 16 flutes, the same size as BMW tool 11 9 240. BMW's N63 oil service uses this tool to undo and torque the filter cap (30 Nm, back off 180 degrees, then 40 Nm). Keep it, you need it every oil change.
- Additive: Liqui Moly Hydraulic Lifter Additive 300 ml (20004). Per Liqui Moly, it reduces hydraulic lifter noise and cleans oil passages; one can is rated for 3 to 6 liters of oil. It is a Liqui Moly product, not a BMW part, and BMW does not approve oil additives, so using it is your call.

BMW of North America's oil chart SI B11 01 15 (February 2017 revision) lists 0W-30 LL01FE for the N63 and N63TU in the US.
How much oil
BMW lists 9.0 L for the first N63 (9.5 L with xDrive) and 9.5 L for the N63TU, with the filter. This kit has 10 L. Fill to your engine's amount, not more: BMW says overfilling damages the engine. Keep the rest for top-ups; BMW allows these engines up to 1 quart every 750 miles.
