How do I know a part will fit my car?

The easiest way is our free VIN decoder: enter your VIN once and get a parts & options catalog built for your exact car — factory options and all. BMW and other European makes change components mid-production-year and across chassis, so the same model can take different parts; decoding your VIN removes the guesswork. If the decoder ever gets your car wrong, hit "No, that's not my car" and tell us what it actually is — that feedback sharpens it for the next owner. Prefer a human? Send us your VIN and we'll confirm fitment directly.

What is the free VIN decoder?

Enter your VIN and we'll decode your vehicle into a catalog of the parts and factory options it actually came with — free to use, one vehicle per account. It's the fastest way to know exactly what fits before you buy. Got it wrong? Tap "No, that's not my car" and drop a comment with the correct vehicle. Those corrections are crowdsourced back into the decoder, so it gets more accurate every time an enthusiast pitches in.

What's the difference between OEM, Genuine, and aftermarket?

Genuine parts carry the automaker's branding and are sold through the dealer network. OEM parts are made by the same manufacturer that supplies the automaker, but sold under that supplier's own brand — identical quality, often a better price, just without the badge. Aftermarket parts are made by independent companies and range from budget to performance-grade. We carry OEM and quality aftermarket so you can choose the right balance of price and pedigree.

Are your parts brand new?

Yes. Every part we sell is brand new unless a listing explicitly states otherwise. We don't deal in used or pulled parts.

What if I order the wrong part?

As long as the part is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging, you can return it within our 30-day return window. Note that opened electrical parts can't be returned, so double-check those before installing.

Do your parts come with a warranty?

Yes — most parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects. Coverage length varies by brand and part type. See our Warranty page for what's covered and how to file a claim.

What is a core charge?

Some rebuildable components carry a refundable core charge — a deposit you get back when you return the old part. If a part has a core charge, it's shown on the product page, and we'll include return instructions so you can claim your refund.
