Nothing on this page is a discount. These are the four ways a parts order costs a shop
more than the parts cost, and what we do about each one.
01
The wrong part
The box arrives, it is not the one the job needed, and the car is already on the lift. Now it is a return, a second shipping charge, and a customer who was told today.
What we doIdentify off the vehicle, not off a keyword search. Section 03 is the actual procedure, not a claim about it.
02
The missing seal
The main part is right and the job still stops, because nobody listed the crush washer, the o-ring, or the bolt that does not go back in.
What we doSend the job instead of a part number and the small stuff is on the list before you think to ask for it.
03
The supersession nobody mentioned
The number was replaced, and the replacement was replaced. Order what the old manual says and you get a part that left production years ago, or nothing at all.
What we doOE references are checked against ETK parts usage when a listing goes live. What we list is what is current.
04
The aftermarket that is not equivalent
Same shape, same box art, different internals. It fits, it passes the test drive, and it comes back under warranty on your labour rather than ours.
What we doSay who actually made it, and where the cheaper one is genuinely the same part, and where it is not.
