Fitment and details
The driveshaft flex disc (guibo) with the new bolts and self-locking nuts BMW calls for, in one order. A cracked or torn guibo shows up as a clunk on take-off, a shudder at launch or a vibration that comes and goes with load.

Install notes
- Self-locking nuts and the flex disc bolts are one-time parts: BMW calls for new ones every time the joint comes apart, so they are in the box.
- Fit the disc with the arrows on its edge pointing at the flange arms, not at the bolt heads, as BMW shows.
- Mark the driveshaft against the transmission and diff flanges before it comes off, and put it back in the same spot.
