BMW of North America's oil chart SI B11 01 15 (February 2017 revision) lists 0W-20 LL14FE+ from model year 2016 for these engine codes: B46 and B48. BMW's current LL-17 FE+ bottle (83215B800C3) replaces its LL-14 FE+ number in dealer parts listings, and BimmerWorld's BMW oil guide says LL-17 FE+ replaces the LL-14 spec for N20, B38, B46, B48 and B58 engines.

BMW of North America's oil chart SI B11 01 15 (February 2017 revision) lists 5.25 L for the X1 sDrive28i and X1 xDrive28i and gives no figure for the other cars here; Liqui Moly's US oil guide lists '5.25 liter (Service fill); 0.3 liter' and '5.25 liter (Service fill)'. This kit has 6 L. Fill to your engine's capacity, check the level the way your owner's manual says, and keep any extra for top-ups.
