What's in the kit
- Oil: 1 x 5 L Liqui Moly Top Tec 6600 0W-20 (22046), 5 L total, BMW Longlife-17 FE+ (LL-17 FE+) 0W-20
- Oil filter: Mahle OX 815/1D oil filter kit, replaces BMW 11428570590. Oil Filter Kit, w/ O-Ring, Insert
- Additive: Liqui Moly Hydraulic Lifter Additive 300 ml (20004). Per Liqui Moly, it reduces hydraulic lifter noise and cleans oil passages; one full can (300 ml) is used with 3 to 6 liters (3.2 to 6.4 U.S. quarts) of motor oil, it mixes on its own and can be added at any time (shake well first), and for best results Liqui Moly says to use it with every oil change. It is a Liqui Moly product, not a BMW part, and using it is your call.

BMW's current LL-17 FE+ bottle (83215B800C3) replaces its LL-14 FE+ number in dealer parts listings, and BimmerWorld's BMW oil guide says LL-17 FE+ replaces the LL-14 spec for N20, B38, B46, B48 and B58 engines.
